Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What type of files can I submit to

We recommend our customers to send single .pdf files. In addition to .pdf files we also accept .tiff and .jpg files. You can submit .ai, .psd, and .eps files, but they might delay the turnaround time. If you need help in converting your files, don’t hesitate to contact us.

  1. What resolution should my files be?

We recommend a resolution of at least 300DPI for artwork.

  1. What’s the difference between the RGB and CMYK?

RGB describes the primary colors (Red, Green, and Blue) that you see on TV and computer screens and digital cameras. CMYK describes the four inks used in color printing: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Key (Black.) It’s not possible for a printing press to reproduce the colors you see on your computer screen.

If you use RGB colors in a project that will print CMYK, the result could be a print with faded colors. Make sure to change all RGB colors to CMYK before submitting an order.

  1. What’s the difference between traditional direct mail and EDDM

Every Door Direct Marketing (EDDM) differs from traditional direct mailing in that you don’t need to pay for a list. Once you receive your postcards from us you can simply take them to the post office, select a route, submit your documents, and pay for postage.

EDMM allows you to reach the customers that are the most important to your business. It’s an affordable solution ideal for small businesses that want to mail to homes within their area. More than that, it takes less time to print and deliver an order than with traditional direct mail services.

  1. What size does an EDDM postcard need to be?

A standard EDDM postcard should be no smaller than 4.5’ x 12’ and no larger than 9’ x 12’.

  1. To whom can I mail EDDM postcards?

With EDDM you can mail to all homes and businesses within a selected mailing route. Check out the USPS website for more details regarding the EDDM program

  1. What types of files are accepted for mailing lists?

For mailing lists, we accept .xls, .csv, and .txt files.

  1. What is the turnaround for mailing?

The turnaround for mailing depends on the quantity of postcards ordered.

  • Between one and three business days for quantities of 200 – 25,000
  • Between three and five business days for quantities of 25,000 – 60,000
  • Between five and seven business days for quantities of up to 100,000.

  1. How long does it take to get the proof of my job?

Once you have placed your order and we received your files, it shouldn’t take more than 1-2 business days to get the proof of your job
